KPD3016 Instruction, Technology And Assessment 1 | 6 Credits
This course discusses and guides students to develop skills in five major planning aspects of the teaching process: (a) stating teaching and learning objectives; (b) selecting and planning of curricular materials and sequence of lessons; (c) selecting appropriate teaching approach, methods and techniques, (d) preparing the use of appropriate teaching-learning tools and technology; (e) preparing, selecting, and using appropriate tools and methods to assess and evaluate learning outcomes. Students will develop skills in the preparation of sets of lesson plans, based on the subjects they specialize.
KPD3026 Instruction, Technology And Assessment 2 | 6 Credits
This course is a continuation of KPD3016 course. It aims to further strengthen students’ skills in lesson preparation and teaching, through presentation of micro- and macro-teaching in the following major aspects of the teaching process: (a) stating the learning outcomes, (b) selecting and planning of curricular materials and sequence of lessons, (c) selecting and implementing appropriate teaching methods and techniques, (d) preparing and using appropriate teaching-learning media and technology, (e) preparing, selecting and using appropriate tools and assessment methods to evaluate learning outcomes based on the subjects they specialize. Students will also be exposed to action research procedures and methods and writing a proposal.
KPF3012 The Development Of Education In Malaysia : Philosophy And Policies | 2 Credits
This course critically discusses the education philosophy and policies by analyzing it in the context of the development of education in Malaysia. This course also explores and discusses the development of national education as a continuum which should ideally occur continuously based on the interaction and thoughts which have taken place in the country’s developmental process. Philosophy, policies, curriculum and regulations in education are also given an emphasis in order to equip the students with the knowledge and skills to carry out their responsibility effectively in the teaching profession.
KPK3012 Inclusive Education | 2 Credits
This course focuses on the policies and philosophy in special education with emphasis in inclusive education. It discussed current issues, characteristics of pupils with special needs and special educational needs as well as discussing strategies and techniques for inclusive approaches. It discuss the aspect of collaborations among interested parties to ensure the success of inclusive education.
KPP3014 Learning And Student Development | 4 Credits
This course discusses the learning and developmental aspects of adolescents in the educational settings that consists of the students learning processes and students’ diversities. Apart from this, students will be exposed to varieties of learning experiences based on brain, cultures, languages, students’ capabilities, personalities, social, environment, emotional and physical aspects.
KPR3012 Seminar On Reflection Of Teaching Practice | 2 Credits
This course will guide students to reflect teaching practice critically, make decision and present action research report.
KPS3014 Management Of Learning | 4 Credits
This course discusses teacher’s roles in learning management in the various context of learning environment. Students will be introduced to various aspects of learning management including organization, leadership, behaviour, discipline, advisory, resource, technology, culture and ability. This course will prepare students the real experience in school that enabled them to react in various learning situations.

This course provides students the opportunity to apply the knowledge in real teaching.
